Shasta West Watershed

 

 

WATERSHED MANAGEMENT PLAN

The Western Shasta Resource Conservation District is currently in the process of seeking funding for several fuelbreaks along Highway 299 west of Redding. The Western Shasta Resource Conservation District and the Shasta West Technical Advisory Committee are preparing the Shasta West Watershed Management Plan and need your input about resource concerns in the watershed. Issues include illegal dumping, defensible space along with many other issues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FISH BARRIER SURVEY

A fish barrier survey is currently in progress in the watershed and seeks to identify and assess potential fish barriers that impede fish passage in the watershed. The results will be used to prioritize fish passage restoration.
